The Administrative Order (AO) No. 2019-0041 entitled, “Implementing Guidelines in Assuring the Efficacy, Quality and Safety of Pharmaceutical Products in the Public Health Facilities” was issued on October 4, 2019 to set the implementing guidelines in assuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of pharmaceutical products along the entire supply chain in all public health facilities. Please be informed that the said AO will be undergoing a review to align with the latest policies issued by the DOH.

Recently, there were some challenges regarding the implementation of certain provisions of the said AO particularly on securing the influenza polyvalent vaccine (Flu vaccine) and other vaccines. With this, there is a recent directive to review the said AO to align with the latest policies issued by the DOH and to recommend necessary policy revision/s.
