Tandaan and right test at the right time. Agad rin na magpabakuna upang makakuha ng dagdag proteksyon laban sa COVID-19.*

Note:

Of the 870 reported cases today, 799 (92%) occurred within the recent 14 days (February 21 – March 6, 2022). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (212 or 27%), Region 4-A (126 or 16%) and Region 6 (80 or 10%).

*Of the 144 deaths, 12 occurred in March 2022 (8%), 64 in February 2022 (44%), 48 in January 2022 (33%), 3 in December 2021 (2%), 6 in November 2021 (4%), 4 in October 2021 (3%), and 7 in September 2021 (5%) due to late encoding of death information to COVIDKaya. This is currently being coordinated with the Epidemiology ans Surveillance Units to ensure information is up to date.*

6 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 2 are recoveries.

Moreover, 130 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.

*All labs were operational on March 4, 2022. However 5 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data in the last 14 days, the 5 labs contribute, on average, 0.8% of samples tested and 0.5% of positive individuals.*

*Further, data from March 3 is used for healthcare utilization figures due to a shift in version in DOH Data Collect.
