Tandaan ang right test at the right time. Agad rin na magpabakuna upang makakuha ng dagdag na proteksyon laban sa COVID-19.*

Note:
Of the 1,019 reported cases today, 982 (96%) occurred within the recent 14 days (February 9 – February 22, 2022). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (197 or 20%), Region 4-A (124 or 13%) and Region 1 (85 or 9%).
*Of the 13 deaths, 6 occurred in February 2022 (46%), 5 in January 2022 (38%), 1 in October 2021 (8%), and 1 in September 2021 (8%) due to late encoding of death information to COVIDKaya. This issue is currently being coordinated with the Epidemiology and Surveillance Units to ensure information is up to date.*
260 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 240 are recoveries.
In addition, 1 case was found to have tested negative and has been removed from the total case count. This case is a recovery.
Moreover, 13 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
*All labs were operational on February 20, 2022. However 5 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data in the last 14 days, the 5 labs contribute, on average, 1.5% of samples tested and 0.7% of positive individuals.*
*Please note that lower reported numbers and positivity rate today are because these are Sunday laboratory outputs, which traditionally have the lowest outputs per week.
