ABOUT

As the national technical authority on health, the Department of Health (DOH) serves as the key government agency for promoting tobacco control in the country. It is dedicated in implementing policies, strategic plans and activities to improve the health of all Filipinos by eliminating their exposure to tobacco in all of its forms.

In collaboration with other government agencies, local government units, civil society organizations and key stakeholders, the DOH is firm in its commitment in strengthening tobacco control measures and protecting the bureaucracy against tobacco industry interference.
