Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro J. Herbosa recently addressed the Association of Health Administrators (AHA) and thanked them for ensuring the effective management of healthcare facilities, resources and personnel of respective localities.

The Secretary said that their role as healthcare administrators must be the pursuit of Universal Health Care and assure the effective delivery of quality healthcare services to our people. He also advised the streamlining of processes and enhancing operational efficiency to impact the quality and accessibility of healthcare services.

“With the acceleration of UHC, we can achieve our vision of Healthy Pilipinas, kung saan bawat buhay mahalaga”, Herbosa said. He also mentioned the success in mitigating the effects of COVID-19 through the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and response strategies.
