Clark, Pampanga, Philippines – Today, the establishment of the Clark Multi Specialty Medical Center (CMSMC) was initiated through a project briefing and site inspection, marking a significant milestone in the Philippines’ healthcare landscape. This state-of-the-art medical facility, a result of collaboration between the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Pampanga Local Government Units (LGUs), the Department of Health (DOH), and in partnership with the private sector like the Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. (BCFI), embodies a whole-of-government approach to bring medical services closer to the Filipino people.

Attended by DOH Chief of Staff Undersecretary Gloria Balboa, in the representation of the good Secretary Ted Herbosa, DOH SCT Undersecretary Maria Francia Miciano-Laxamana, DOH FICT Undersecretary Enrique Tayag, DOH MST Assistant Secretary Leonita Gorgolon, and other DOH Officials, everyone was in good spirits as all there were excited to make this project happen.

The CMSMC is a pioneering catalyst for transformative change in establishing specialized medical centers nationwide. Through the partnership with the BCFI, it aims to foster hope and ensure access to high-quality health services for the people of Region III and neighboring regions.

The CMSMC features a comprehensive range of specialized departments, including Heart, Kidney, Cancer, and Pediatric Centers. Equipped with cutting-edge facilities that rival the world’s best, CMSMC aims to provide top-notch medical care to its patients.

The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr, the President of the Philippines. In his address, President Marcos emphasized his commitment to transparency and accountability, assuring the public of his dedication to reporting pertinent details regarding establishing specialty centers across the nation.

The CMSMC represents a significant step forward in the Philippines’ healthcare system, promising improved accessibility, advanced medical services, and a brighter future for the nation’s health. It serves as a shining example of effective partnerships and underscores the collective effort of various government agencies to prioritize the well-being of the Filipino people.

Further, the establishment of the CMSMC is an embodiment of several points of the Department’s Eight-Point Action Agenda and the President’s objective to Build Better More – Batong Buhay Mahiwaga. This facility will further ensure that Bawat Pilipino, ramdam ang kalusugan as CMSMC will deliver Ligtas, dekalidad, at mapagkalingang serbisyo particularly to those in Central Luzon.
