Ngayong 4 PM, Pebrero 5, 2022, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 7,689 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 22,539 na gumaling at 1 na pumanaw.
Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 3.8% (136,436) ang aktibong kaso, 94.7% (3,410,821) na ang gumaling, at 1.51% (54,214) ang namatay.
Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong February 3, 2022 habang mayroong 6 laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 6 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 0.6% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 0.9% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal.

*Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na huwag maging kampante sa banta ng COVID-19. Bagkus, dapat natin  ipagpatuloy ang tamang pagsunod sa minimum public health standards at lagging magsuot ng facemask, mag physical distancing, at maghugas ng kamay. Sa oras na makaramdam ng sintomas, AGAD NA MAG-ISOLATE at magpatest. Tandaan ang right test at the right time. Agad rin na magpabakuna upang makakuha ng dagdag na proteksyon laban sa COVID-19.*

Of the 7,689 reported cases today, 6,777 (88%) occurred within the recent 14 days (January 23 – February 5, 2022). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were Region 7 (1,022 or 15%), Region 11 (830 or 12%) and NCR (748 or 11%).
*The death is on May 2021 (100%). Death was from and Region 2 (1 or 100%) due to late encoding of death information to COVIDKaya. This issue is currently being coordinated with the Epidemiology and Surveillance Units to ensure information is up to date.*
205 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 116 are recovered and 1 is a death.
Moreover, 1 case that was previously tagged as a recovery was reclassified as a death after final validation.
*All labs were operational on February 3, 2022. However 6 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data in the last 14 days, the 6 labs contribute, on average, 0.6% of samples tested and 0.9% of positive individuals.
