It has come to the attention of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that several companies manufacturing, importing or distributing water purification devices being sold in the Philippine market have been making unproven therapeutic/clinical claims for the promotions and advertisements of their products allegedly producing water labeled as "alkaline water", "oxygenated water", "pi water", "ionized water" or "energized water".
