To effectively carry out the transfer of responsibility of medical device regulation from the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) to the Bureau of  Health Devices and Technology (BHDT) as stated in the Administrative order No. 2007-003: Policies and Guidelines governing the registration and licensing of establishments dealing with Medical Devices .
