Rotary International 2760 (Nagoya)

(7 December 2020) — The Bureau of International Health Cooperation (BIHC) facilitated the turnover of donations from Rotary International 2760 from Nagoya, Japan. The activity was attended by Director Maria Soledad Antonio of BIHC, Mr. Johnny Yu of Rotary International - Manila, and Dr. Takeo Okada of the Embassy of Japan. Rotary International District 2760 donated 144,000 pieces of face shields, which arrived in the country on 20 November 2020.

(11 December 2020) — The Bureau of International Health Cooperation (BIHC) facilitated the turnover of donations from Temasek Foundation.

The activity was attended by Director Maria Soledad Antonio and Dr. Arthur Amansec from BIHC, Mr. Don-don Mari Ubaldo and Ms Tracey Elora San Pablo from Filinvest Corporation, and Ms. Zhou Suli and Mr. Huang Zi from the Embassy of Singapore in the Philippines. The donations of Temasek Foundation included 370 units of BiPAP machines, 100,000 N95 masks, and around 2,000,000 reusable masks. Freight costs for the donation, amounting to almost PHP1 million has been shouldered by Filinvest Development Corporation.

Temasek Foundation CLG Limited has been a consistent partner of the Philippine government for the country’s response against COVID-19. To date, the organization has donated supplies of RT – PCR testing kits, RT – PCR machines, ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
