(17 December 2020) — The Bureau of International Health Cooperation, duly represented by Director Maria Soledad Q. Antonio, attended the turnover of DMSc RT-PCR testing kits (capable of 10,000 tests) from the Kingdom of Thailand last 16 December 2020 at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) lobby. The testing kits arrived last 05 December 2020.
His Excellency Ambassador Vasin Ruangprateepsaeng of the Embassy of Thailand, and Embassy officials (Deputy Chief of Mission Thawat Sumitmor, and First Secretary Atipha Vadhanaphong), handed over the donations to Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. of the Department of Foreign Affairs. Also present were DFA Undersecretary Brigido J. Dulay, DFA Assistant Secretary Nathaniel G. Imperial, DFA Assistant Secretary Junever Mahilum-West, Office of Civil Defense Assistant Secretary Hernando M. Caraig, Jr., and National Task Force on COVID-19’s Spokesperson retired Major General Restituto Padilla.
