Bureau of International Health Cooperation Hosts Formal Turnover of Oxygen Concentrators from the Temasek Foundation

(30 July 2020) — The Bureau of International Health Cooperation (BIHC), duly headed by Director Maria Soledad Q. Antonio, hosted a short ceremonial turnover of Yuwell 9F-5AW oxygen concentrators donated by Temasek Foundation last 30 July 2020 at the BIHC Conference Room. Present during the turnover ceremony were Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Mario C. Villaverde, Undersecretary Robert Eric A. Borje who acts as the Chief of Presidential Protocol and Presidential Assistant on Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Gerard Ho Wei Hong of the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore.

This donation consisted of 600 oxygen concentrators, 100 of which will be donated to the province of Cebu and Cebu City as part of the COVID-19 response. These oxygen concentrators arrived in the country on 27 July 2020 via Scoot flight TR 1390.

The DOH expressed its appreciation to the Temasek Foundation for its generous donation to various health facilities in the Philippines.
