Philippines Receives Test Kits from the Republic of Korea

(27 April 2020) – Secretary Francisco T. Duque III of the Department of Health, and Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), formally received 700 test kits equivalent to 35,000 tests (worth around USD500,000.00) from the Republic of Korea (ROK) last April 25, 2020. The ROK was represented by H.E. Ambassador Han Dong-man and First Secretary Seah Park. General Restituto Padilla, Spokesperson of the National Task Force for COVID-19, and Undersecretary Robert Eric A. Borje, Chief of Presidential Protocol, also graced the ceremony.
