(11 June 2020) — The Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) handed over a total of 215,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) composed of 5,000 protective gown, 10,000 isolation gowns and 200,000 surgical-grade masks to the Philippine’s Department of Health. The PPEs were handed over by the MECO Board of Directors, Dir. Raymond Robert Burgos and Dir. Cesar Drilon, Jr. The donations were received by Health Undersecretary Carolina Vidal-Taiño, team leader of the DOH-Procurement and Supply Chain Management Team. The activity was witnessed by the Taiwan Association Inc. Philippines and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO). The turnover was held last Thursday, 11 June 2020 at the International Cargo Terminal, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Pasay City, Metro Manila.
